Setting Up the PCL Driver

Stapling

Multiple-page documents can be stapled.
The staple function is available only when the optional finisher (excepting
Shift Tray) is installed.

Click the Setup tab.

Select the [Staple] check box.

From the drop-down list, specify the number of staples and the sta-
pling position.
Note
Depending on the selected Binding Position setting, different stapling po-
sitions are available.
Number of sheets which can be stapled is 100 of Staple Finisher (100
sheets) and 50 of Staple Finisher (50 sheets)/Folding Finisher on A4 or
smaller plain paper.

Hole Punching

Holes can be punched into the printed document.
The hole punch function is available only when optional finisher (excepting
Shift Tray) is installed. In addition, the Punch kit or Punch Z-Fold Unit should
have been installed.

Click the Setup tab.

Select the [Hole-Punch] check box.

From the drop-down list, specify the number of punched holes.
