scanner driver setting window.

Note that if the Page Edge Filler is too wide, some characters in the vicinity
ATTENTION
of the boundary may be cut.
When you scan the document based on the other settings than "Automatic
paper size detection", "Paper Edge Filler (ADF)" automatically becomes
valid instead of this setting.
