3. Turn on the Ilumina and then the computer. If your Ilumina is to be installed
as a network device, please refer to the relevant section in the Software
Installation Guide and/or the Network and Confi guration Guide for further
details on how to confi gure the network connection before installing the drivers
for the Ilumina.
Administrator's authority is required when installing a network connection.

For instructions on installing the drivers and other software, refer to the Software
Installation booklet.
