CAUTIONS WHEN CHANGING THE TYRE
Before changing the tyre
• Turn on hazard flashers and move off the road to a safe place away from traffic. Park on a firm and level ground.
• Set up the jack at the specified position. Never get under the vehicle while it is supported by jack.
• Have all passengers out of the vehicle and in a safe place from the traffic.
During changing the tyre
• Do not completely tighten a wheel nuts at a time. Tighten it with several times in a crisscross sequence.
• Never use oil or grease on studs or nuts. It may cause an over tightening of the nuts.
After changing the tyre
• Check, repair, and retighten the replaced tyre at nearest Ssangyong Authorized Service Operation or qualified tyre
shop after emergency change.
• Store the repaired or new spare tyre at its location. When refitting the spare tyre, make sure that the outer surface
of the tyre (wheel nut side) is facing down. And, check if the spare tyre is securely locked at the location without
any looseness. Otherwise, it may be dropped on the road while the vehicle is moving.
• Retighten the wheel nuts after 1,000 km of driving.
• Check the wheel nuts tightening and tyre pressure before driving.
