WARNING
• If you touch the selector lever unexpectedly while driving, the shift-
able gear may be changed. It can make the vehicle unstable. Be
careful not to touch the selector lever while driving (especially in
winter season).
• Do not downshift abruptly (3, 2, or 1) when the vehicle speed is
high (D or 4). You could lose control and hit people or objects
(especially on a slippery road).

CAUTION
• When pushing and holding the selector lever to left(-)/right(+), the
gear may be shifted through several steps in series. Make sure to
shift one step at a time.
• If you apply excessive force when moving the lever to left(-)/right
(+), the gear may not be shifted into other gears. Soft and smooth
operation is recommended.
• Please note that the gear may be upshifted If you fully depress
the accelerator pedal while driving with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear.
