Registering and de-registering handsets

Manual registration: Gigaset C 2 on Gigaset C 200 or C 250

You must initiate handset registration on the handset and on the base.
1. On the handset

Base 2 flashes in the display when the system PIN has been entered.
2. On the base
The base search is cancelled after 60 seconds. If registration has not completed inside
this time, repeat the process.
When registration is successful, the handset is automatically assigned the lowest unas-
signed number, as described in the chapter 'Automatic Registration' (page 73).

Press the display key to open the menu.
Select the menu item and confirm.

Select the menu item and confirm.

Select base (1–4) and confirm, e.g. Base 2.

Enter the system PIN of the base (the default is 0000)
and confirm.
Press the Registration/Paging key on the base
(page 58) until you hear a signal tone (C 250 only)
(approx. 3 seconds). Registration is initiated.
