Memory Mirroring
The chipset supports memory mirroring. Memory mirroring is a concept intended to avoid loss of
data if one DIMM fails.
The maximum useable memory amounts to half of the installed memory in a mirrored system.
Memory mirroring is achieved by mirroring the first two memory channels of each processor. The
third channel (C or F) remains unused.
For memory mirroring, the DIMMs need to have the same capacity and technology across all
channels.

Remote Management Module
The Remote Management Module provides extended functions for server management. A network
card is provided specifically for remote access.
