Check that pressure regulator shutoff valve is in the
"on" position (_.
Open the manual shutoff valve in the gas supply line.

Use a brush and liquid detergent to test all gas
connections. Bubbles around connections will indicate
a leak. If a leak appears, shut off gas valve controls
and tighten connections. Then check connections
again. Never test for gas leaks with a match or other
flame. Clean all detergent from range.

Center the burner cap on burner base. Burner cap
should be level when properly positioned. Place
burner grates over burner.

Electronic ignition system
Cooktop and oven burners use electronic ignitors in
place of standing pilots. When a cooktop control knob
is turned to the "LITE" position, the system creates a
spark to light the burner. This sparking continues until
the control knob is turned to the desired setting.
When the oven control is turned to the desired setting,
a hot surface ignitor heatsto a bright orange and
ignites the gas. No sparking occurs. The glow bar
remains on while the burners operate.

Check operation of cooktop
After air has been purged from gas line, push in and
turn each surface unit control knob to "LITE" position.
The flame should light within 4 seconds. Turn control
knob to "Hi" position after burner lights.
Check each cooktop burner for proper flame. The small
inner cone should have a very distinct blue flame 1/4"
to 1/2" long. The outer cone is not as distinct as the
inner cone. If the flame is noisy or blowing, it is getting
too much air. If the flame is soft and lazy, it is not
getting enough air. Turn surface burner control knobs
to "OFF" position. Adjust air shutter if needed.
If surface burners need adjusting:
1.Remove control knobs. Do Not use a metal blade to
pry off control knob; this could damage the product.
If the control knob cannot be easily removed, tuck a
cloth under the knob and pull out on the cloth with
steady, even pressureto remove the knob.
2. Open oven door and remove 3 screws from
bottom of manifold panel. Pull down slightly on
manifold panel and pull panel away from range.
3. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, adjust the air shutter
@ for each burner as needed. Close the air shutter to
decrease the amount of air to the flame. Open the air
shutter to increase the amount of air to the flame.
Adjust the air shutter to the widest opening that will
not cause the flame to lift or blow off of the burner.
4. Repeat the first part of Step 15 after adjusting the air
shutters.
5. Replace manifold panel and reinstall 3 screws in
bottom of manifold panel.
6. Replace control knobs on valve stems.

la llamaes suave y lenta, significaqueno est_recibiendo suficiente
cantidadde aire.Gire las perillasde controlde losquemadores
hastala posici6nde "OFF".Ajuste el obturadorde airesi fuera
necesario.
Si nesesitaajustarlosquemadoresde la superficie:
1.Quite 1as perillasde control No useunahoja metalicapara quitar
la perillade control; estopodriadatar el producto.Si la perillade
control no se puedequitarconfacilidad,introduzca un patio debaio
de la perillay jale el paso haciendopresioncontinuay uniforme
para sacarla perilla.
2. Abra la puertadel homo y quite los3 tomillosde la parteinferior
del panel multiple dedistribuci6n. H ale haciaabajo ligeramente el
panel multiple de distribuci6n y saque el panelde la cocina.
3. Utilizando un destomillador de hoja plana,ajuste el obturador de
aire _) de cada quemador, segUn fuese necesario. Cierre el
obturador de aire paradisminuir la cantidad de aire que da a la
llama.Abra el obturador de aire para aumentar la cantided de aire a
la llama. Ajuste el obturador de aire en la apertura m&s amplia que
no ocasione que la llama salte fuera del quemador.
4. Repita la primera parte de] Paso15 despu_s de ajustar los
obturadores de aire.
5. Vuelva a colocar al panel m(_ltiplede distribuci6n y reinstale los
3 tornillos en la parte inferiordel panel mL_ltiple de distribuci6n.
6. Vuelva a colocar las perillasde control en los vastagos de la 17
v_lvula.
