Group and Priority Scan

Group and priority scans repeatedly watch a priority chan-
nel while scanning the specifi ed tag channels. This is useful
when waiting for a call on the priority channel.
Group and priority scans behave differently when transmit-
ting. Group scan allows the user to transmit on a busy or
priority channel. Priority scan will only allow transmission on
a priority channel. (or the channel scanning starts ON, if no
priority channel is set)
To initiate a group or priority scan:

Push until group or priority scan is selected.

Set the priority channel by pushing and holding
two seconds while on the desired channel.

To cancel the priority channel, push [Top] to enter second func-
tion mode, then push and hold
ting.

Push to start the scan.
Group scan starts.
Priority scan starts.
r When receiving a signal, the scan will pause and resume
according to the selected scan resume condition.
