Once a successful video connection is made, the sound will be restored and you will
see the other person's image on the screen.
Continue with the call as normal. To end call, hang up (or press HANDSFREE).

If the video connection is unsuccessful, the message:

will appear. This may be because the other person did not accept
your video call (or doesn't have a videophone), or because the line quality was
not good enough to support a video call. Note, under any of these circumstances
you will not incur a video charge.
During a successful video call, the following screen
will appear (see example right):
You may use options 1 to 4 as follows:
Press 1 to return to a voice call.

Press 2 if you would like to view both parties
♦
on dual screen (see example right). To return
to single screen, press 2 again.
Note, dual screen view reduces the video speed. If
you find the speed unacceptable, switch back to
single screen.
Press 3 if you want a full screen view of the
♦
current picture (see example right). The
resulting picture may be too coarse and
'blocky' for close viewing, but may be useful
when viewing from a longer distance. To
return to normal view, press 3 again.
Press 4 if you require privacy from your side of the video call. You will still see the
♦
other person but the camera in your
see you. To switch the camera back on, press 4 again.
No video connection
will be switched off so that they can't
