"Amserve" and "we" means Amserve Limited, registered in England with company number
02410731, of Brentwood House, 169 Kings Road, Brentwood, Essex CM14 4EF, England, and its
group of companies, including Amstrad plc with company number 00955321;
"User" or "you" means the user of the e-m@iler.
These Amserve Terms and the contents of the User Instructions book accompanying the purchase
of the e-m@iler govern the use of the e-m@iler, and form the agreement between you and
Amserve.
We will do our best to provide and maintain the operation of the service for the functions of the
e-m@iler. It is technically impracticable to provide a fault free service and we do not undertake to do
so. We will do our best to remedy any reported faults expeditiously. Disruptions and faults however
may occur by reason of third parties, severe weather and natural phenomena. Such matters are
beyond the control of Amserve.
If you connect the e-m@iler to a system or equipment such as a switchboard, you should ensure
that the hardware, software and equipment of the system are compatible with the e-m@iler.
The e-m@iler and its functions must not be used as a critical component in life support or any
system in which failure could result in death, personal injury, or damage to property.
We have tested the games in the library provided to ensure their compatibility with the e-m@iler.
We shall use our best efforts to ensure that the downloading time and costs we state are accurate.
Telecommunication network and other factors may interrupt the downloading transmission of the
games. We have no control over such disruption. When you download games, they are for your
personal playing on the e-m@iler only. You must not copy, sell, lend, sub-license or by other ways
allow others to use or exploit these games.
You must not copy, de-compile, modify, change, sell, lend, sub-license or by other means interfere
with or exploit the software of the e-m@iler. Nor must you change the factory-installed software in
the e-m@iler, except where such change is an upgrade or modification version released by
Amserve.
On-screen adverts are an integral part of the e-m@iler. You cannot opt out of the receipt of adverts.
Your personal data is never given out to advertisers.
We do not endorse the product or service advertised or accessed through the e-m@iler. You buy
such product and use such service at your own risk. You should also be cautious when you
download materials from the internet, as such downloaded materials may contain virus and other
disruptive materials.
If you have children, you must prevent access and usage by children of facilities that are unsuitable
to them. In particular it is your responsibility to prevent access by them to web sites that are only
suitable for adults, and prevent their use if you object to the incurring of telephone charges and
other costs that you are responsible to pay.
