NOTE:
1. Neverloadthetrallerwithmoreweightln
the back than in the front. About 60% of
the trailer load should be In the front half
on the trailer and the remaining 40% in
the rear.
2. The total gross vehlcle welght with trailer
must not exceed the Gross Vehlcle Weight
Rating (GVWR) shown on the vehlcle
identlflcation plate (see page 8-1). The
total gross vehlcle welght is the com-
bined weight of the vehlcle, driver, all
passengers and their luggage, cargo,
hitch, trailer tongue load and other op-
tional equipment.
3. The front or rear axle weight must not
exceed the Gross Axle Welght Rating
(GAWR) shown on the vehlcle Identlfica-
tion plate (see page 8-1). It is posslble
that your towing package does not ex-
ceed the GVWR but exceeds the GAWR.
Improper trailer loadlng and/or too much
luggage In the trunk can overload the
rear axle. Redlstribute the load and check
the axle welght again.
4. The maxlmum permisslble static vertlcal
load on the coupling device is 50 kg.
