AIR FLOW CONTROL
This is usec ;ed to direct the flow of air. Air can be
directedtotl othefloor, dashboard outlets, orwind-
shield. Five ive symbols are used to represent
Face, Bi-Le -Level, Floor, Floor-Defrost and De-
frost air pos KDsition.
Face-Level
Selecting I the "Face" mode will cause air to be
discharae

Bi-Level
Air is discf iharged through the face vents and the

floor vents. This makes it possible to have
cooler air from the dashboard vents and warmer
air from the floor outlets at the same time.
Floor-Level
Air is discharged through the floor vents.
Floor-Defrost Level
Air is discharged through the windshield defrost
vents and the floor vents.
If the "Floor-Defrost" mode is selected, the A/C
will be on automatically.(lf installed)
Defrost-Level
Air is discharged through the windshield defrost
vents.
If the "Defrost" mode is selected, the A/C will be
on automatically.(lf installed)

TEMPERATURE CONTROL
This is used to tum the heating system on and
off and to select the degree of heating desired.

HEATING CONTROLS
For normal heating operation, set the air intake
control to the fresh air (£Eb) position and the
air flow control to the floor (V') position.
For faster heating, the air intake control should
be set in the recirculate (cSb) position.
If the windows fog up, set the air flow control to
the defrost Cffi) position (The A/C will be on
automatically, if installed.) and the air intake
control to the fresh air (£Eb) position.
For maximum heat, move the temperature con-
trol to "Warm".
