3.6 Retrieving Voice Mail

When you dial a number and the person at the other end does not pick up, you are prompted to
leave a voice mail or dial another extension. This tutorial shows you how to listen to any voice mail
messages that you might have received.
To retrieve a voice mail message:
When you have a new voice mail message waiting, one indicator notifies you:

• As soon as a voice mail is recorded the VOICE MSG key starts to flash red.
To retrieve your voice mail messages, press the VOICE MSG key. This takes you directly to the

audio prompt. Simply follow the instructions as they are presented to you.
Note: When you access your voice mail, you may be required to enter your unique PIN
code. It should have been given to you by the network administrator at the time
your phone account was created.

3.7 Setting the Time on Your V310

By default, your phone's time is set automatically using an external time server. However, you can
set the time manually as well.
To set the time on your V310:
First, you need to set the V310 to not get the time and date from a time server. Open the

Network Settings > NTP & Time screen and select the Disable option. (You may be prompted to
enter the administrator password. The default is "1234".)
