Transferring a D200 configuration to the D20MX

19.2. Click: the D20 device.

Click the ribbon Configure group > iSCS > Generate.
19.4. Confirm that there are zero errors in the Device Log; any Warnings are
acceptable.
20. Setup LAN Communication:
20.1. Click the Project tab of the original D20 device configuration
20.2. Click: the D20 device.
20.3. Click the ribbon Configure group > Communications > Options.
Result: The Device Communication Options widow appears.
20.4. Click Interface tab > Connection Type.
20.5. Select iSCS LAN.
20.6. Click OK.
21. Transfer the new configuration files to the D20MX:
21.1. Click the Project tab of the original D20 device configuration
21.2. Click: the D20 device. 12.3.
21.3. Click the ribbon Configure group > Sync To.
Result: A Warning message prompts you to NOT interrupt the operation and
confirms the device is connected.
21.4. Click Yes to continue.
Result: The Login window appears, prompting for User Name and Password
(use your configured login credentials, default are westronic / changeme)
Result: A Warning message indicates that the public key has CHANGED; this
appears when you are connecting to the device for the first time.
21.5. Click Yes to continue.
Result: The Transferring configuration window appears showing the transfer
status.
Result: When the transfer is complete the Device configuration transferred
successfully message appears.
21.6. Click OK.
22. Note that all users that existed in the transferred D20/D200 configuration will now
have a default password of "changeme". Change these passwords using the passwd
command in the D20MX Shell. Refer to the WESMAINT Configuration Guide B014-
0NCG for details of this command.
Before you can transfer a D200 device configuration, the following components must be
present:

SGConfig
7.00 or higher installed on the configuration computer
D200 Configuration has been migrated to SGConfig
(Refer to the Migration Wizard screencast).
Migrating a multi-processor D200 will only transfer the application configurations on the
first processor.
