Configuring by Telephone
Call Diversion
With call diversion you can divert incoming calls. The calls are
diverted to an external telephone line or to a telephone con-
nected with your FRITZ!Box. The following diversions can be
set up on your telephone:
If your telephony provider supports direct diversion of incom-
ing calls, calls will be diverted by your provider. Otherwise the
FRITZ!Box performs call diversion by establishing a second
call for the diversion whenever a call arrives. In either case,
call diversion to an external line will be charged at your con-
tracted telephone rates.
For call diversion only numerical Internet telephone numbers
can be entered. This means you can use only numerals, no
letters or other characters.
Call Diversion for One or All Telephone Numbers
You can set up call diversion for the local outgoing call num-
ber (Caller ID) of the telephone or for any other telephone
number. The telephone uses the local outgoing call number
to establish outgoing calls.
If you set up call diversion for all telephone numbers, all in-
coming calls will be diverted.
For each call diversion you can select whether an incoming
call is diverted immediately, delayed (after 20 seconds), or
only when the line is busy. All call diversion settings can be
disabled at any time.
Call diversion for a telephone number: Only incoming
calls for the specified telephone number are diverted.
Call diversion for all telephone numbers: All incoming
calls (for all telephone numbers) are diverted.
Call diversion for an analog extension: All calls for the
specified analog extension on the are diverted.
