12 ANTI-TIPPER

12 Anti-Tipper
WARNING
After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching hardware is tightened securely -
otherwise injury or damage may occur.

12.1 Adjusting/Replacing Anti-tipper

For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 1 on page 86 and FIGURE 2 on page 87.
WARNING
Anti-tippers MUST be attached at all times. Inasmuch as the anti-tippers are an option on this wheelchair (you may order it
with or without the anti-tippers), Invacare strongly recommends ordering the anti-tippers as an additional safeguard for the
wheelchair user.
Anti-tippers MUST be fully engaged. Ensure the lock buttons of the anti-tippers fully protrudes out of the mounting hole in
the anti-tipper bracket.
Ensure both anti-tippers are adjusted to the same height.
To ensure the correct model anti-tipper is used refer to FIGURE 1. Measurements for anti-tippers are approximate and are
taken using the top adjustment hole on the anti-tipper (Detail "A").
