VI. Assembly Instructions for Ultimate Dust Deputy®
1. With a Phillips head screwdriver, attach
the two rubber latches, one on either side of
the dust collection box using the (4) 10 x 32
x 1" machine screws included
in the hardware pack. Make sure
that the handle of the latch curves
downward when attached or when
in the up position it points out.
2. Take the provided length of gasket, peel
It is very important that there are no
gaps in the gasket where the ends meet.
Make sure they are butted together!

3. Put Gasket on box top making sure gasket holes
4. With a Phillips head screwdriver, attach

the protective backing off of the gasket
and carefully place the gasket fl at around
the underside of the box top as shown,
not on the side of the inside lid.
line up with bolt holes in top.
the Cyclone with the (6) provided 1/4"x 20
x 3/4" bolts. Tighten in a star pattern as
shown. Do NOT over tighten.

You can put the hoses in the box
and turn the top upside down and
latch the top down to transport the
Dust Deputy® to a job site so the
cyclone is protected.

5. Pull up latch so hole in latch goes over the pin /
boss on Dust Box top.
6. Attach hose from vacuum to the top of the Dust
Deputy® cyclone outlet.
7. If you are using the Festool hose, attach included
adapter, white end fi rst on the cyclone inlet as shown,
then connect hose to adapter.
Elbow
An optional Elbow can be used on the outlet
to reduce stress on the Dust Deputy® top
during use.
