9.2 VERTICAL MODES

The table lists the vertical modes with their corresponding controls and annunciations.
The mode reference is displayed next to the active mode annunciation for Altitude
Hold, Vertical Speed, and Indicated Airspeed modes. The NOSE UP/DN Wheel (GMC
305 only) or FMS Joystick, can be used to change the vertical mode reference while
operating under Pitch Hold, Vertical Speed, Indicated Airspeed (GMC 305 only), or
Altitude Hold modes. Increments of change of values for each of these references
using the NOSE UP/DN Wheel or FMS Joystick, are also listed in the table.
