Remove Modules
To remove a module from the router:
Step 1
Power down the router as described in the router hardware installation guide on Cisco.com, at:
www.cisco.com/go/cgr1000-docs.
Step 2
Insert the module in the slot as shown in
Using a screwdriver to loosen the module captive screws (two per module) from the connectors on the

router front panel.
Step 4
Use your hands to gently pull the module from the router.
Step 5
If needed, power on the router as described in the router hardware installation guide on Cisco.com, at:
www.cisco.com/go/cgr1000-docs.
