Remove and retain the screw securing the expansion port cover to the

rear cover. Keep the port cover for reinstallation in case you ever need
to remove the card (see Figure 34).

Firmly insert the edge of the expansion card into the slot.
After seating the card firmly, secure it to the chassis by installing the

screw you removed in Step 5 through the mounting bracket at the end
of the card.
If required, connect cables to the card (see card documentation for

proper jumper settings and cable orientation)
Close the case, as described in "Closing the system" on page 8.

Reconnect the power cord and turn on the system.
10.
It may be necessary to reconfigure your system after installing some
expansion cards. You may also need to install software that came with the
card. Check the card documentation for additional information.
Important!
For full length cards, make
certain that the end of the
card is aligned with the
correct slot in the card
guide. When the card is fully
inserted, the plastic retaining
clip will snap back out to
hold the end of the card in
position.
