Advanced receiving functions

The <Advanced Functions> key is for easy access to the following fax functions listed in
the table.
NOTE
• To shorten a frequent-use operation, assigning the function to a soft key is recom-
mended. For how to do this, see page 8-2.
• If one of the functions is assigned to any of the three soft keys, that function will not be
available through the <Advance Functions> key.
To select the fax function using the <Advanced Functions> key:

Switch to the fax mode by pressing <

Press <Advanced Functions>.
3 Press < q >, <p>, or <Advanced Functions> repeatedly to select the function. Then
press <Enter>.

COPY FAX SCAN
Descriptions
Used to make a broadcasting.
Used to enter a recipient's address.
Prints the transmit confirmation report for only the next
transmission.
Obtains a dial tone to on-hook dialing.
Enters the special dialing character.
Used to make a delayed transmission.
Stores a document for batch transmission.
Used to select the TTI or to disable the TTI on your
transmission.
Used for the cover page setting.
Enables or cancels the fax forwarding.
Enables or cancels the Fax&Copy.
Enables or cancels the security reception.
Enables or cancels the separator page.
Enables or cancels the memory Tx.
Enables or cancels the auto reception.
Used to make an F-code transmission.
Used to make an F-code polling.
Used to make a polling reception.
Enters the "/N" symbol.
Used to set the paper size on the bypass tray.
Displays total printed and scanned page.
Enables or cancels the Energy save mode.
Cancels PC printing.
Switches the machine's mode.
Enables or cancels the e-mail gateway.
