Partitioning a system is done at the QBB level: You can have a maximum of
eight partitions. In hard partitioning mode:

System partitions are independent.
•
Each partition requires its own configuration tree.
•
Hardware isolation is required.
•
Address spaces are disjointed.
•
Failures are isolated to a specific partition.
