Loading Paper in the Bypass Tray
Follow the procedure below to load paper into the bypass tray.
Set a different size of paper at the same time. Do not add new paper while paper remains in the bypass
tray. This can be the cause of paper jams.
Procedure
1
If retracted, open the tray.
To avoid damage to the tray, do not use excessive force
or place heavy objects on the tray.
2
Adjust the paper guide to the mark
corresponding to the size that you are
about to use.
When printing on long paper, pull out the tray
extension. Printing long paper with the tray extension
retracted can cause the paper to spill out of the tray or
make feeding impossible.
