When the Printer Is Not Printing
Incorrect IP address.
The print data sent from a
computer in a single print
instruction exceeded the upper
limit of the receiving capacity
while [Memory] is selected for
[LPD Spool].
An irrecoverable error has
occurred during printing.
The transport protocol is
different from that of the
computer.

Using CentreWare Internet Services

Cannot be connected to
CentreWare Internet Services.
The "Please wait" message is
displayed throughout the Web
browser.
The [Refresh] button is not
working.
Selecting the left frame menu
does not change the display.
The screen display is distorted.
The latest information is not
displayed.
Cause
Ask your network administrator
to check that the IP address is
correct.
Check the memory capacity of
[LPD Spool] and compare it with
the print data which was sent in
the single print instruction.
Check if an error is displayed on
the control panel.
Check the selected transport
protocol.
Symptom
Is the printer working correctly?
Check if the power of the printer is switched on.
Is Internet Services enabled?
Print out the [System Settings List] to check.
Is the URL correctly entered?
Check the URL again. If connection fails, enter the IP address to
connect.
Is the proxy server used?
Some proxy servers do not allow this feature.
Try connection without using the proxy server.

Wait for a while as instructed.
If the problem persists, refresh the web browser. If nothing happens,
check if the printer is working properly.
Are you using the supported OS and a web browser?
Refer to "6.3 Checking/Managing the Printer Status on a Web
Browser" (P. 130) to check whether the OS and web browser you
are using are supported.
Change the window size of the web browser.
Click [Refresh].

limit of the memory
capacity, divide the file into
smaller ones and try again.

If multiple files have
exceeded the upper limit of
memory capacity, reduce
the number of files to be
sent at one time.
Switch off and then on the
printer.
Select the same transport
protocol as that of the computer.
