Select Monitoring Configuration from the Advanced menu to display the Monitoring
Configuration submenu, which is shown in

Description
Enables or disables the use of the
port on the motherboard. Disabled
by default.
Redirects the console to Serial
Port 1 or 2. If Console Redirection
is enabled, this address must
match the settings of Serial Port 1
or 2.
Sets the specified baud rate. 9600
by default.
Specifies the type of console. PC
ANSI by default.
Select XON/XOFF to enable flow
control, which uses the XON
XOFF software protocol.
XON/XOFF by default.
CTS/RTS (Clear to Send/Ready to
Send) enables the hardware
handshake protocol.
Specifies that the console
connects to the system either
directly or by a modem. Direct by
default.
Enables console redirection after
the operating system has loaded.
