Description
Powers the component on and brings it into service (online). The component
must be offline, broken, or shot.
Runs diagnostic tests on the component. The component must be out of
service (offline) before you can run diagnostics. Initiate Diagnostics turns on
power to the component to run the diagnostic tests. This action is unavailable
if the component is online. Diagnostics also run just prior to bringing the
device into service.
Switches from one or more running CPUs to a new CPU and displays the
status of the operation. Normally used to upgrade the CPU element BIOS.
Resets the bus. Normally, when a bus error occurs, the bus resets
automatically. Typically, the NEC Technical Support initiates this action only
when the bus does not reset after a bus error.
Adds a slave system to an existing ftGateway group.

Launches the Intel
PROSet utility.
Removes a slave system from an ftGateway group.
Performs a memory comparison on all online CPU elements. A memory
check involves a read, followed by a write if an error is detected, of every
location in memory. This is necessary to ensure that memory on all CPU
elements is identical in content. When elements are initially partnered,
memory is automatically checked. A dialog box indicates the status of the
action; click OK to close the dialog box.
Removes an ftGateway group. You must remove all slave systems from the
group prior to executing this action.
Deletes all of the data from the RDR target disk.
Renews the dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) IP addresses used
for the VTM Internet connection.
Resets configurable device properties to the default values and displays the
status of the operation.
Resets all Board Instance Driver - srabid configurable properties to their
default values.
