Trusted Computing


TPM Support (if a TPM device is installed)
Select Enable to activate support for trusted platforms (TPM 1.1/1.2) and allow
the BIOS to automatically download the drivers needed to provide support for the
platforms specified. The options are Enable and Disable.
TPM State
This feature enables or disables the installed security device. The options are
Enabled and Disabled.
Pending Operation
This section will display any operation that is pending. Any of the following mes-
sages are displayed: None, Enable Take Ownership, Disable Take Ownership and
TPM clear.
If TPM Support is set to Enable, the TPM Status will appear:
TPM Enabled Status - any of the following status messages are shown:
Enabled or Disabled.
TPM Active Status - any of the following status messages are shown:
Activated or Deactivated.
TPM Owner Status- any of the following status messages are shown:
Owned or Unowned.

CPU/Chipset TXT Feature

This section appears if the TXT Feature is supported by the CPU and/or
chipset.

TXT Support

Intel TXT (Trusted Execution Technology) helps protect against software-
based attacks and ensures protection, confidentiality and integrity of data
stored or created on the system. The options are Enabled and Disabled.

Intel TXT(LT-SX) Dependencies

This section displays any features that must be enabled/supported on the
motherboard prior to enabling Intel TXT.
