X9SRH Motherboard Series User's Manual

Energy/Performance Bias

This feature sets the optimization balance between performance and power
savings. The options are Performance, Balanced Performance, Balanced
Energy and Energy Efficient.

Long duration power limit

This feature is the processor power consumption limit (in Watts) during a long
duration time window.
Long duration maintained
This feature is the time in milliseconds where the Long Duration Power Limit
is maintained.
Short duration power limit
During Turbo Mode, the system may exceed the processor's default power
setting and exceed the Short Duration Power limit. By increasing this value,
the processor can provide better performance for a short duration.
Chipset Configuration
WARNING: Setting the wrong values in the following sections may cause
the system to malfunction.
North Bridge Configuration
This item displays the current IO chipset Revision.
Integrated IO Configuration
Intel
VT-d
®
Select Enabled to enable Intel's Virtualization Technology support for
Direct I/O VT-d by reporting the I/O device assignments to VMM through
the DMAR ACPI Tables. This feature offers fully-protected I/O resource-
sharing across the Intel platforms, providing the user with greater reliabil-
ity, security and availability in networking and data-sharing. The settings
are Enabled and Disabled.
Intel
I/OAT
®
The Intel I/O AT (I/O Acceleration Technology) significantly reduces
CPU overhead by leveraging CPU architectural improvements, freeing
resources for more other tasks. The options are Disabled and Enabled.

DCA Support

This feature accelerates the performance of I/O devices using Direct
Cache Access. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
