Viewing the digital signal meter
You can view the digital signal meter in the ANT/
CABLE digital TV input source only.
To view the digital signal meter:
SETUP Press @ and open the Setup menu.
2 Highlight
Installati0n
and press (@.
3 A new set of installation menu icons will appear.
Open the
Terrestrial
menu, highlight $igual
Meter,
and press @.
4. Press &V411_ to select the antenna input and
digital channel whose signal you want to check.
5 [f you want to know the detail information of the
presentation channel, Highlight
Advanced
a nd
press o@.
Note:
• The physical digital channel number listed in
the Signal Meter screen may not correspond
to a virtual TV channel number. Contact your
local broadcasters to obtain the RF channel
numbers for your local digital stations.
• The signal strength does not change between
virtual channels on the same physical
channel.
To close the screen and return to the
Installation menu:
Highlight Doue and
press
@.
To return to normal viewing:
CANCEL
Press @.
Setting the time zone
The Time Zone setup will allow you to specify the
correct time zone for your region. This feature will
allow the TV status information to show the correct
time zone information for your viewing area (_" page
52).
To set the time zone:
1 From the Setup menu, highlight lustaJJati0u and
_. A new set of [nstallation menu icons will
press
aF_pear.
Highlight Time Z0ne, and press o@.
3 Press a{ or i_ to select the region, highlight D0ue,
and then press @.
After the time zone has been set, you will be asked to
set the current Daylight Saving Time status.
To set the Daylight Saving Time status:
1
Press a{ or _ to select Yesor No, highlight Doue,
and then press o_.
Viewing the systemstatus
To view the system status:
1 Press sgP and open the Setup menu.
Highlight Installati0. and press o@.
3 A new set of installation menu icons will appear.
Open the System Status menu, highlight System
information,
and press o@.
4. Dess _ll_ to scroll through the menu bar to select
the Factory D efaults o rSupportinformation and
view the related information.
To close the screen and return to the
Installation menu:
Highlight D0ue of Support information or highlight
NOof Factory Defaults, and press @.
To return to normal viewing:
Press _.
ResetFactoryDefaults
To reset all settings and channels to their
factory default values:
SETUP
1 Press @ and open the Setup menu.
Highlight Installation and press o@. A new set of
[nstallation menu icons will appear.
3 Open the System Status menu, highlight System
information,
a nd press @.
4. Press 411_ to scroll through the menu bar to select
Factory Defaults.
5 Highlight Yesand press o@.
6 (If PIN code has been set, enter your PIN cc_.te. P ress
a{ or _ to select D0ue and press o@.)
A warning message will appear, select Yes and press
o@, the TV will turn off automatically after a few
seconds. After the TV turns
off,
unplug the TV power
cord and then plug it in again to complete the reset
process.
To cancel the reset:
Select NOand press @ in step 5 above.
