To temporarily cancel the parental
restriction:
1) Load the restricted content DVD that you
want to play.
2) Use the Channel Number buttons (0-9) to
input the system password after the "Enter
Password" message, then press fo_.
This suspension of the parental restriction
setting applies until disc is ejected.
[] Password
Select this option to change the access
password for the parental control setting.
1) Press A or V to select Password, then
press @.
2) Use the Channel Number buttons (0-9) to
input the current password, then press o_.
if the password has not been set yet, key in
"0000". This is the factory default password.
3) Use the Channel Number buttons (0-9) to
input the new password, then press _).
You will be prompted to confirm the new
password.
4) Use the Channel Number buttons (0-9) to
input the new password again, then press
5) Press @ one last time to confirm the
changed password. Note this new password
for future reference.
If you forget the system password:
1) Make sure there is no disc in the disc slot.
2) Press and hold down "4" on the remote
control, then press VOLUME- on the TV
control panel.
The "Initializing" message appears on-
screen to indicate that the password has
been reset to its default factory setting
"0000". All DVD Setup related settings will
also be reset to their default factory values.
