Disassembly

Removing the CD/DVD Device (Bay Two)

The easy changeable CD device may be upgraded or changed.
1. Turn off the computer, remove the battery
2. Remove screws
3. Carefully lift up the memory socket cover
disconnect it or leave it attached).
4. Use a screwdriver to carefully push the CD/DVD device assembly

5. Insert the new device and carefully slide it into the computer (the device only fits one way. DO NOT FORCE IT; The

screw holes should line up.

7. Restart the computer to allow it to automatically detect the new device.
