The Pfaff Vision sewing machine could get stuck when picking up the bobbin thread due to several reasons:

- Incorrect threading: The machine may not be threaded properly according to the instruction manual.
- Lint or dirt buildup: Dirt around the tension unit, especially in the discs, can cause issues.
- Damaged or wrong needle: A bent or incorrect needle can interfere with thread pickup.
- Incorrect bobbin threading or housing: The bobbin might not be threaded or placed correctly.
- Tension problems: Incorrect top thread or bobbin tension settings can cause jamming.
- Different threads: Using different threads for the top and bobbin can lead to looping and jams.
- Stitch length settings: An inappropriate stitch length for the fabric type may cause problems.

Checking and correcting these areas can help resolve the issue.
