CD changer
After selecting "CDDSC" by pressing CONTROL _peatedly, you
can perform the follewing epera/ions on a CD changer:
PLAY
I_k,-I
• STOP
II PAUSE
1 -6, 7/P
:Start playing.
:Return
to the beginning
of the current
(or
previous)
track.
:Skip to the beginning
of the next track.
:Stop playing
or recording.
:Pause playing.
'Ib resume
press I_ PLAY.
:Select
the number
of a disc installed
in a CD
changer.
After pressing
CD, you can perferm
the fellowing
operations
on the
CD changer:

:Select
a track number
directly.

5, press 5.

15, press +10, then 5.

20, press +10, then 10.

30, press +10, +I0, then I0.
Example:
• Selecting

1. Press CONTROL
repeatedly
until "CDDSC"
appears
on
the display
window,
then press
4.
2. Press CD, tben
press +10, 2.
If your CD changer
is of 200-disc
loading
capability
(except
for
XL-MCI00
and XL-MC301),
you can do the fellowing
operations
using the number
buttons
after
pressing
CD.
1.
Select a disc number.
2.
Then
_lect
a track number
(always
enter
two digits).
3.
Start playback.
Examples:
• Selecting
disc number
3, track number
2, and starting
playback.
Press 3, then, 0, 2, then D,-PLAY.
• Selecting
disc number
I0, track number
5, and starting
playback.
Press I, 0, then, 0, 5, then D,-PLAY.
• Selecting
disc number
105, track number
12, and starting
playback.
Press 1,0, 5, then I, 2 then D,- PLAY.
Turntable
After pressing PHONO, you can perform the follewing epera/ions
on a turntable:

:Start playing.
• STOP
:Stop playing.
CD recorder
After pressing
CDR (or selecting
"CDR"
by pressing
CONTROL
repeatedly),
you can perform
the following
opera/ions
on a CD
recorder:
PLAY

:Start playing.

Note:
You can use either CDR or CONTROL to activate the buttons listed
above, If you press CDR, the playing source also changes. On the
other hand, if you press CONTROL repeatedly to select "CDR," the
playing source does not change.
Cassette
deck
Ariel" pressing

"TAPE"
by pressing

you can perform
the following

on a cassette
deck:

:Fast wind the tape from right to left.

When you use a cassette deck, change the source name
connected to TAPE/MD jacks correctly (see page 17).

You can use either TAPE/MD or CONTROL to activate the buttons

select "TAPE," the playing source does not change.
