You can at/just the speaker
output levels. The lest tone can be also
output from each speaker

subwoofer

when using the Surround
mode.
• Once you have made ac[justment,
it is memorized
for each source.
• When using the bullons
on the front panel to ac[just output

for the Surround
mode, no test tone is available.
Adjustable
speakers
You can at/just the following
speakers'
output
levels within the
range of-10
dB to +10 dB ("0 dB" is the initial
setting):
SUBWFR
: Select this to at/just the subwoofer
output level.
FRONT
L (FRNT
L) : Select this to at/just the left front
speaker
output
level.
CENTER
: Select this to at/just the center
speaker
output
level.
FRONT
R (FRNT
R) : Select this to at/just the right front
speaker
output
level.
SURR
R
: Select this to ac[just the right
surround
speaker
output level.
S BACK
R (SBK R) * : Select this to ac[just the right
surround
back speaker
output
level.

Using the on_scroen
display (through
the remote
controll:

* If you have selected "ISPK" for the surround back speaker (see

page 22), "S BACK" appears instead of"S BACK (SBK) L" and
"S BACK (SBK) R." No test tone outputs from the right surround

Press < or _ to adjust the speaker
output level
(-10 dB to +10 dB).
Repeat steps 4 and 5 to adjust the other speakers
output levels.
After the adjustment
is finished,
press • or • to
move _
to "TEST
TONE," then select "OFE"
8. Press EXIT
repeatedly
until the menu disappears
from the TV.
Notes:
• Ifyouhaveselected"NO"or"NONE"foraspeaker(seepage22),
test tone does not come out of the corresponding
speake_
• Subwooferoutputlevelcannotbeadjustedwhenoutputtingtest
tone. When you adjust the subwoofer output level, select "OFF" for
"TEST TONE."
• Test tone does not output through the speakers when selecting
DVD MULT!,
