• If there is a power failure or the VCR is unplugged
for more than 30 seconds, the clock setting and all
timer settings will be lost.
• If the tape runs out before the end time, the VCR will
switch to the Stop mode immediatzly, eject the tape
and the VCR power will be turned off. The "1_" in-
dicator will flash.
• If a tape is not inserted or the erase-protection tab is
removed, the" []" indicator flashes and timer record-
ing cannot occur. Please inset a recordable tape.
• The TV that is connected to your VCR may be turned
ON or OFF when the VCR is in the timer-record
mode.
CORRECTING
AN AUTOMATIC
TIMER
PROGRAM
1) Turn the power on.
2) Repeat steps [1] to [3] on page 26.
3) Go to the digit you want to change by using the
F.FWD/I_ button or REW/al button.
4) Enter correct numbers by using the PLAY/A
or
STOP/V button.
5) Press the RESET/EXIT button to return to original
mode.
6) Press the POWER button to return to timer stand-by
mode.
STOPPING
A STARTED AUTOMATIC
TIMER PROGRAM
Press the STOP/EJECT button on the VCR.
NOTE:
The STOP button on the remote control will
not function in Automatic Timer Recording
mode.
CANCELING
OR CHECKING
THE
START/END
TIME
1) Turn the power on.
2) Press the MENU button.
3) Select a program number you want to check by using
the PLAY/A or STOP/V button. The details of se-
lected program appears on the TV screen.
You may cancel the entire program by pressing the
REW/al button.
4) Press the RESET/EXIT button to return to original
mode.
USING THE AUTO RETURN BUTTON
When all the timer recordings are completed (the "l_"
indicator on the VCR flashes), press the AUTO RE-
TURN button on the VCR !_L _. The VCR will rewind
to the beginning of the recorded program(s).
NOTE:
If there are any remaining programs, press the
POWER button to turn on the VCR, then press
the AUTO RETURN button. If you press any
other button and then press the AUTO RE-
TURN button, the Auto Return will not occur.
USING THE MENU
If you choose auto return to [AUTO] from the menu,
when the timer recordings finish, the VCR will rewind
to the beginning of the recorded program(s) without
pressing the AUTO RETURN button.

To exit the auto return programming, repeat
steps [ 1] to [3]. Then, press the F.FWD/I_ but-
ton. [AUTO] will then disappear

menu. Press the RESET!EXIT button to return
to TV mode.

Press the POWER button to turn on the VCR. Then,
