Initialization

There are five types of printer initialization (returning
a fixed set of conditions).
All of printer's parameters return to the default power-on
the
settings:
When the power is turned on.
When the power is turned off and, after at least 5 seconds, turned
on again.
When the
CONTINUE
display shows "INITIALIZE."
You clear the data received and return the current SelecType Level 1
settings to the saved settings:
When the
CONTINUE
printer display,* and your software sends the RESET command
to the printer.*
You return
the
settings:
When you perform the LOAD MACRO setting in the SelecType
Level 1 SYSTEM CONFIG option.
You return the current SelecType (Level 1 and Level 2) settings to the
saved settings:
When you perform
Level 2.
Some parameters may not be changed by this method. Refer to

the individual printer mode descriptions in Appendix D.
