Key with fix ed key blade and horizontally

Hav e the ba tteries replaced at a w orkshop.

Repairer.

Replace the battery as soon as the range
of the radio freq uency remote c ontrol
begins to shrink.
Sep arate the key part from the radio
frequency remote control using a
screwdriver as illustrated.
The transponder for the imm ob iliz er is in
the front of the k ey. Make sure that it is not
damaged or detached.
Insert a screwdriver and open the rad io
frequency remote control w ith a light
turning motion.
Keys, Doors, Bonnet
O pen the remote control. Prise out battery
with screwd riv er. R eplace battery (battery
typ e - see pa ge 208), ensuring that it is
inserted correc tly . Close the rem ote control
and a ud ib ly eng age. Insert the remote
control in the key p art and enga ge.
Battery replacem ent must be performed
within 3 minutes. O therwise the remote
control will have to be re-synchronized –
see nex t page.
Mak e sure that you dispose of old batteries
in accordance with env ironmental
protec tion regulations.
