Exhaust emission
The c ontrol indicator illumina tes when the
ignition is switched on and g oes out shortly
after the engine starts.
Illuminates when the engine is running
Fault in emission control sy stem. The
permitted emission limits may be
exceeded. C onsult a workshop . We
recom mend your Vauxhall Authorised
Repairer.
If it flashes when the engine is running :
Fault that can lead to destruction of the
cataly tic conv erter is indicated; see
page 125. Consult a w ork shop
immediately . We recomm end y our
Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.

Engine oil p ressure
The control indica tor illuminates w hen the
ignition is switc hed on and goes out shortly
after the engine starts.
Illum inates when the engine is running
Engine lub ric ation may be interrupted . This
may result in dam age to the engine and/or
lock ing of the drive wheels:
Instruments
1. Move out of the flow of traffic a s quickly
as possible, without im peding other
vehicles.
2. Dep ress clutch.
3. Move gearshift lever to neutral, or with
Easytronic 3, place selector lever in N.
4. Switch off ignition.

Warnin g
When the eng ine is off, considerably
more force is needed to brake and steer.
Do not remove key until v ehicle has com e
to a standstill, otherw ise the steering
colum n lock could engage unexpectedly .
C onsult a workshop . We recommend your
Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.

Turn signal lights
When the turn signal is activated, the
corresponding control indica tor flashes.
Rapid flash: A turn signal bulb is faulty.
Both control indic ators flash when the
hazard warning lights are activated.
