Preheat ing for di esel engines 3,
diesel part icle filter 3
Illuminated
Preheating system active, switches on only
if outside tem perature is low.
Flashing (with diesel particle filter)
Diesel particle filters m ust be clea ned.
Continue driving and as soon as the road
and traffic conditions permit it, increase
speed to more than 25 m ph (40 km /h), at
which point diesel particle filter cleaning
will start. The control indicator goes off as
soon a s cleaning is complete. We
recom mend leaving the ignition switched
on during the cleaning .

Fog t ail li ght
The control indica tor is illuminated when
the fog tail light is on - see page 95.

Alternator
The control indica tor illuminates w hen the
ignition is switc hed on and goes out shortly
after the engine starts.
Illum inates when the engine is running
Stop the v ehicle a nd switch off the eng ine.
The battery is not being charged. Engine
cooling m ay b e interrupted . C ontact a
work shop. We recom mend y our Vauxhall
Authorised Repairer.

Brak e system,
cl ut ch system 3
The control indicator illuminates when the
ignition is switched on if the handbrake is
app lied or if the brake or c lutch fluid level 3
is too low. Further information - see
