8. ABOUT HIDDEN COMMANDS

The buttons of the Operation Unit can be
operated to acquire data concerning the
projector and, when a personal computer
is connected, to also change some of the
data.
The data shown here is recorded in the
Main PWB Ass'y.
Use caution with this function because
some of the data is not included in the
instruction manual.
8.1 Service Menu
1) Display method
① Turn on the main power switch.
② Press [POWER] button to turn on the lamp.
③ Press [▲], [▼] and [ENTER] button of the Operation Unit at the same time to display the SERVICE MENU 1.
Press [MENU] button when the SERVICE MENU 1 is being displayed to display the SERVICE MENU 2.
Press [MENU] button when the SERVICE MENU 2 is being displayed to exit.

*2. The number in the ( ) indicate the temperature when the power turned off caused by unusual temperature.
*3. The number in the ( ) indicate the fan speed mode when the power turned off caused by unusual temperature.
*4. If the power-off by unusual temperature has been nothing, "0" is displayed.
*5. The 5 digits numbers show the condition in order of ①, ②, ③, ④, ⑤ from left. The digit that corresponded to the condition
of the power-off indicates "1", the others indicate "0". The condition numbers and contents are as follows.

(Total line number in 2V term)
Number of times the lamp was turned on (This count the turn on action whether
succeeded or failed
Number of times the lamp-on was failed (excluding the lamp went out)
The SET TIME when the power turned off caused by unusual temperature (If the
above power-off has been nothing, "0H 0M" is displayed)
Temperature of the intake air (*2, *4)
Temperature at the top of the LCD panel (*2, *4)
Temperature of the lamp (*2, *4)
Fan speed mode(*3, *4)
Condition for the power turned off caused by unusual temperature (*4, *5)
Cause of power-off
The IN-TEMP was over 43.5℃
The LAMP-TEMP was over 150℃
The LCD-TEMP was over 63.5℃
