4.9. Removing the Audio PWB Ass'y and
the Speaker
(1) Remove the Top Case Ass'y.(see 4.2)
(2) Disconnect the Connectors SY and SV of the Main PWB
Ass'y.
(3) Disconnect the Connector NN of the Power Sub PWB
Ass'y.
(4) Remove the Screw T and then remove the Audio Ass'y.

(5) Remove several screws that fixed the Speaker and
disconnect the Connector GE of the Audio PWB Ass'y
and then remove the Speaker from the Audio Holder.
(6) Remove the screw that fixed the Audio PWB Ass'y and
then remove the Audio PWB Ass'y from the Audio Holder.
4.10. Removing the Optical Ass'y
Caution
* * * * The Optical Ass'y contains exposed optical parts
such as prisms, mirrors, etc. Use caution to avoid
damaging or soiling these optical parts.
(1) Remove the Top Case Ass'y.(see 4.2)
(2) Remove the Lamp Power Unit.(see 4.3)
(3) Remove the (Main PWB, Video PWB, Inlet Switch PWB
and Terminal Board) Ass'y.(see 4.4)
(4) Remove the Audio Ass'y.(see 4.9)
(5) Remove 4 Screws W and the Metal Board X and then
slowly lift up the Optical Ass'y.

4.11. Removing the Fan (Small)
(1) Remove the Top Case Ass'y.(see 4.2)
(2) Remove 2 Screws Y and then remove the Fan (Small).
4.12. Removing the Intake Fan (side)
(1) Remove the Top Case Ass'y.(see 4.2)
(2) Remove the Lamp Power Unit.(see 4.3)
(3) Remove the (Main PWB, Video PWB, Inlet Switch PWB
and Terminal Board) Ass'y.(see 4.4)
(4) Remove the Optical Ass'y.(see 4.10)
(5) Remove 2 Screws Z and then remove the Intake Fan
(side).
