4.3. Removing the Lamp Power Unit
(1) Remove the Top Case Ass'y.(see 4.2)
(2) Remove 4 Hooks D and then slowly lift up the Lamp
Power Unit.

(3) Disconnect the connector CB1 and CB2 of the Lamp
Power Unit.

(4) Disconnect the connector E of the Thermal Protector.

(5) Remove 2 screws G and then disconnect the socket H of
the Lamp Power Unit.

4.4. Removing the (Main PWB, Video PWB,
Inlet Switch PWB and Terminal Board)

Cautions
* * * * All workers should wear wristbands to prevent static
electricity. LCD panels are especially prone to
damage from static electricity.
* * * * Before disconnecting the FPC wires of the LCD
panels from the main board connector, release the
connector locks by lightly pulling upward.
* * * * When reassembling the Main PWB Ass'y, be sure to
return the sheet to the top of the Main PWB Ass'y. If
this sheet is forgotten, there is danger of the Main
PWB Ass'y and others being damaged when the
power is turned on.
(1) Remove the Top Case Ass'y.(see 4.2)
(2) Remove the Lamp Power Unit.(see 4.3)
(3) Remove the Screw I.

(4) Remove the Sheet.
(5) Use tweezers to release the lock by gently lifting the
connector locks of SRX, SGX and SBX connectors in the
direction of the arrow and then disconnect the FPC wires.
Caution
* * * * Use care not to damage the SRX, SGX and SBX
connectors.
