(4) Adjustment
Connect a XGA signal generator or personal computer to the RGB-IN jack of the projector.
When using a personal computer as an XGA signal generator, provide another set of personal computer to input
adjustment commands (adjustment values). In short, we need two sets of personal computers in total.
Use the RS-232C cable provided with the projector to connect the RS-232C terminal of the projector and the COM port of
the personal computer. (Refer to (2) Connection Method page 7-1)
Turn on the power switch of the projector.
Turn on the power of the personal computer and open the Hyper Terminal window. (Refer to 5. Hyper Terminal Setting
Method page 5-1)
Press the power button on the Operation Unit or the remote controller to turn on the light source lamp and project a test
signal.
Make the following adjustments as necessary.

A/D converter input amplitude
2
Ghost
3
Flicker
4
Gray color balance
(5) Writing adjustment values
Commands and adjustment values are input into the Hyper Terminal window in upper case alphanumerics from the keyboard
of the personal computer.
Always press the ENTER key after input at such times.
Caution:
* Circuit adjustment items 1. A/D converter input amplitude are performed automatically, so the writing of adjustment
values of adjustment commands as well as write command and adjustment value write operations are
unnecessary.
(6) Exiting
Click on the button in the upper right corner of the Hyper Terminal window to exit Hyper Terminal.

Perform when the Main PWB Ass'y has been replaced.
Perform when the Ghosts are prominent in the video after either the Main PWB Ass'y or
the LCD Block has been replaced.
Perform when the Flicker is prominent in the video after either the Main PWB Ass'y or the
LCD Block has been replaced.
Perform when the Color Balance is lost of gray signal after either the Main PWB Ass'y or
the LCD Block has been replaced.
