2-5 Setting up the Fiery S300 as a PostScript printer
Setting up the Fiery S300 in the Print Center
After you install the printer description files, you must set up the Fiery S300 in the
Print Center to take full advantage of its features. This section describes how to set up
the Fiery S300 and configure installable options. The PPD Installer installs all
language files at the same time. The following procedures describe how to set up the
Fiery S300 on a system using either English or a non-English language.

1. Start Print Center by clicking the Print Center icon on the Dock.
Alternatively, choose Applications from the Go menu, choose Utilities, and then click
Print Center.
2. Click Add in the Printer List dialog box.
3. Choose AppleTalk or IP printing in the pop-up menu.
4. For AppleTalk, choose the AppleTalk Zone, and then choose the name of the
Fiery S300.
If the zone is not listed as the Default Zone, or one of the Recent Zones, select
AppleTalk Network, select the zone, and click Choose.
