Add-ons
Add-ons (or supplemental characters) are commonly added to the end of
EAN-13 bar codes. The imager will read the add-ons if they are enabled
and in the field of view. Three add-on types are supported: 2-digit, 5-
digit and UCC/EAN 128. Supported options are:
This option directs the imager to ignore add-on portion of a

EAN-13 bar code but still read the main portion of the bar code.
The imager will read 2-digit add-ons with the EAN-13
2 Digits —
label.
The imager will read 5-digit add-ons with the EAN-13
5 Digits —
label.
The imager will read 2- and 5-digit add-ons with the

EAN-13 label.
The imager will read UCC/EAN 128 add-ons with
