RAM ( R andom A ccess M emory) - The memory available to pro-
grams, different programs will need more or less RAM depending on
what they are doing. RAM is the most common type of memory
found in computers.
reboot - To restart a computer.
resume - To restart your computer from suspend mode.
ROM ( R ead O nly M emory) - A memory chip that permanently
stores instructions and data. Its contents are created at the time of
manufacture and cannot be altered. ROM chips are used to store con-
trol routines in personal computers (ROM BIOS), peripheral control-
lers and other electronic equipment.

SD (Secure Digital) Memory Cards - SD memory cards are one of
