Setting Up Automatic Camera Operation
Automatic camera operation refers to specific camera control operations (panning, tilting,
zooming, and switching backlight compensation on and off) that are performed repeatedly at
specified intervals for each camera. For example, you can specify an automatic operation that
photographs the cash register, the entrance and the product display cases every 10 seconds.
Note that you can use the viewer window to check the image while you are specifying the settings
for automatic operation.

Select the icon for the camera server you want to use
for automatic operation and then select "Properties"
from the "Tool" menu and specify automatic operation
in the "Auto Contol" tab.
If there are multiple cameras connected to the
camera server, select the camera you want to use for
automatic operation from the "Camera" list.
Click the "New" button to set the control operations.
The Automatic Operation Settings viewer window
appears.
Move the camera to the location you want to display.
When you have decided on the location, click the
"Add to Schedule" button.
You can select the automatic operation interval (the
time for which the camera is stopped at each step in
the schedule) from the "Pause time" list. You can
specify a period from 10 to 60 seconds in 10-second
increments.
The steps in the schedule are automatically
performed in the order in which they are specified.
To change the sequence of the scheduled
operations, click on the step you want to change and
then press the "Up" or "Down" button to change the
sequence.
To remove a step from the schedule, select the step
and then press "Remove". To delete all the scheduled
steps, click the "Clear All" button.
You can test your automatic operation by clicking on
the "Test" button.
When you have completed the settings, click the
"OK" button to enable the automatic operation
settings. If you want to set up another automatic
camera operation schedule, click the "Apply" button.
