Updating the Firmware
To upgrade the firmware, you must first obtain the new firmware yourself. For the latest information
on new firmware updates, visit our web page:
http://www.x-zone.canon.co.jp/WebView/index.htm
When you select "Firmware Upgrade", the Remote Firmware Upgrade Utility starts up.
Enter your administrator user name and password.
Transfer of the firmware file to the server begins.
Notification of completion.
By selecting the icon for the camera server for
which you want to change the settings from the list
of camera servers and then selecting "Firmware
Upgrade" from the "Tool" menu, you can remotely
upgrade the camera server firmware to the latest
version. By selecting multiple camera server icons,
you can upgrade multiple camera servers at once.

Administrator user name: User name for the server administrator

Administrator user password: Password for the server administrator
Specify the firmware file to be
transferred to the server.
The transferred firmware is stored in
flash ROM.
