Troubleshooting the Catalyst Switch
To troubleshoot the Catalyst switch running Cisco IOS software, perform the following procedure.
This procedure is supported on Cisco CRS-1 Multishelf Systems only.

Restrictions
The external Catalyst switches must operate with the same software version: Cisco IOS software release
12.2 with Sup720 engine. Please note that older hardware can also use the CatOS software, but Cisco
strongly recommends using the Cisco IOS software.
